Todly was established in 2008 by our owner, Vincent Wang. Vincent was born to a poor family of farmers in the 1980s. In an effort to pull their family out of their dire financial situation, Vincent’s father entered into the construction industry. However, after watching his father’s success in the industry, Vincent became interested in the field as well. Vincent’s vision went beyond being just a laborer, though – his ultimate dream was to become a world-renowned designer in the construction industry with hopes of one day designing a one-of-a-kind modern skyscraper.
Dreams don’t always become reality right away. After graduation, Vincent entered the construction industry when he took a position as a sales representative for a large, well-known construction company in China. Over time, Vincent worked his way up to being one of the top sales executives in the company. During his time in sales, he would continually make an effort to strike up conversations with his customers in an effort to learn as much as he could about the industry. It was through those conversations that he started brainstorming ways to make the processes he’d learned about more efficient and sustainable, which is how he came up with the idea for Todly, his own manufacturing business in the sub-specialty of window openers and actuators.
Vincent’s company started small in 2008, with a staff of only 20 people. Thanks to his wealth of knowledge, smart business practices and previous success in the field, Vincent was able to grow his staff to over 100 people by 2015.
